The Heart Behind Hearts & Ember

Hi, I'm Ana. I'm a wife, mom, author, small business owner, and woman of faith. More than anything, I'm someone who believes that life, with all its beautiful moments, unexpected turns, and challenges, is a story worth embracing.

My family has always been at the heart of who I am. Being a wife and mom has shaped me in more ways than I can count. It's taught me about love, patience, sacrifice, and the importance of appreciating the moments we sometimes take for granted. Some of my favorite memories are found in the simplest things — time spent together, conversations around the table, shared laughter, and the traditions that make our family ours.

Of course, life hasn't always gone according to plan. Like so many others, I've experienced seasons of joy and heartache, love and loss, change and new beginnings. There have been times when my faith felt unwavering and others when trusting God meant simply taking life one day at a time.

Those experiences became part of the inspiration behind my book, Faith Through the Storm. Writing allowed me to share pieces of my journey, reflect on the lessons I've learned, and hopefully encourage someone else walking through a difficult season of their own.

I'm still learning as I go. I don't have everything figured out, and I've come to realize that I don't need to. I'm learning to give myself grace, appreciate where I am, and trust that even the unexpected chapters can lead to something meaningful.

A Little More About Me

Outside of writing, I find so much happiness in the simple things that make life special. Family time means everything to me, whether we're gathered around the table enjoying a good meal, sharing stories, or just spending time together.

I absolutely love baking, especially cakes! There's something about starting with a few simple ingredients and turning them into something beautiful that brings me so much joy. I've always enjoyed being creative and trying new things, whether it's writing, baking, quilting, or even sewing, which I've just recently started learning. I'm certainly no expert, but I love the process of learning something new and seeing what I can create along the way.

I also love camping and spending time outdoors. We recently bought a small travel trailer, and it's quickly become one of our favorite ways to get away. There's just something about packing up, heading somewhere peaceful, enjoying a cup of coffee in the fresh air, and slowing down from the busyness of everyday life. Whether we're exploring somewhere new or simply relaxing at the campsite, those little getaways have become something I really look forward to.

And yes, we're a Disney family! Disney has always held a special place in my heart, not just because of the magic and memories, but because it takes me back to when my kiddos were little and life seemed so much simpler. Those days when their eyes would light up over the smallest things, when everything felt like an adventure, and when we were making memories.

The Beginning of Hearts & Ember Co.

Hearts & Ember Co. grew from that same love of family, faith, creativity, and the things that make life meaningful.

I've always been drawn to cozy comforts, rustic style, the beauty of the outdoors, and pieces that feel like they have a story behind them. What began as a creative idea has slowly grown into something I'm excited to share.

Through my Signature, Courage, and Faith Collections, I hope to offer more than just apparel and accessories. I want to create pieces that feel personal — something comfortable to wear, something that reflects what matters to you, or perhaps something that offers a little encouragement when you need it most.

Each collection has its own personality, but they all come from the same place: a heart that values faith, family, courage, and living with purpose.

Embracing This Chapter

These days, I'm embracing this season of life with gratitude, curiosity, and an open heart. I'm still writing, still creating, still dreaming, and still discovering new things about myself along the way.

I believe there's always room for a new beginning, a new adventure, or a dream you haven't quite let go of, no matter what chapter of life you're in.
